I have always loved oriental umbrellas, and some things never change! I still love them!
I’m already dreaming of ways utilize my purchases, so keep your eyes open for an Asian twist to some of my photography this summer!

Loved our time at the umbrella factory today so much- awesome place!

Since my life doesn’t consist primarily of going to umbrella factories, here’s a picture of some of the girls from the English Centre where I spend the majority of my time.
Wor, (middle) was our Thai teacher, and the rest of the girls are students at the Centre.

A few favorites from the week…
Gotta love these unique manikins- I have to grin every time I walk past them!
Anyone agree with me that Jordan is in the wrong profession?

Beth is fast becoming a treasured friend!

Culture- I love it.

Fun times with the Korean kids! I’ve been having so much fun getting to know this family who lives just down the street. Today I was teaching them how to make strawberry pie! Strawberries are in season over here right now, and they love to bake and have never had a pie, so we made pies!

After an amazing dinner with these fun people, at the coolest resteraunt ever (the ‘waterfall’ resteraunt for those of you who have been over here), we went back to IGO for some of Beth’s fresh chocolate chip cookies and ice cream! Pretty sure we’re still Americans!

My ‘artsie’ (is that a word?) shot for the day.

Hello from balmy Thailand! Life is good!
I really had no idea what pictures to post, so decided to just put a few collages together of some of my favorites so far…
I love experiencing culture.
I love the market. We spend a good bit of time there with doing language learning assignments, shopping, and eating amazing food!

Yesterday we went to a Flower Festival/Parade. It was the most interactive parade I have ever been to in my life!
Very frustrating to take pictuers, but was very interesting, and I loved it.
People intrigue me so much!
